Site: The Company’s Quotation assumes the site is:
- Level and firm ground with easy access for the personnel and equipment.
There are no underground drains, pipes, cables and other hidden services on the site selected.
- Unless previously indicated M.R Marquees cannot be responsible for any damage to any such items.
Similarly, the company cannot be responsible for any damage to the grass or site on which the marquee is pitched. No guarantee can be given that the equipment will be removed the following day. However we will do our best to meet the wishes of our clients whenever possible.-
Weather Conditions:
The side walls may be removed for the function but it is essential these are replaced afterwards and the doors closed to protect the marquee against damage by winds concentrating under the roof.
Permits:
The Hirer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for the erection of M.R Marquees equipment on the site, including those required by M.R Marquees staff to obtain access to the site.
Loss or Damage:
The Hirer is wholly responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment whilst onsite or otherwise in the possession of or under the control of the Hirer arising out of any cause outside of the direct control of the Company and/or its employees and in the event of any loss or damage however caused agrees to indemnify the Company for the full cost of any repair or replacement of the equipment.
No decorative tinsel, crepe paper or self adhesive material to be affixed to the Marquees without prior arrangement.
Damage Waiver:
M.R Marquees can arrange a damage waiver on your behalf at 5% of the hire fee.
Cancellation or Premature Termination of Contracts:
In the event of the Hirer desiring to cancel the contract after a firm order has been placed, if the cancellation date is 14 days or more prior to the delivery date, there will be a charge of 15% of the hire charge; if the cancellation is 3-13 days prior to the delivery date, the charge will be 50% of the hire charge and if the cancellation is less than 3 days prior to the delivery date, the full charges are due.
Force Majeure:
While every effort will be made by the Company to carry out any order accepted, the full performance of it is subject to variation or cancellation by the Company consequent on any event outside the direct control of the Company or it’s employees.
Payment:
Prior to, or at the time the Marquee is pitched on site.
